This training is a 6 hour course presented in one day. Participants will be able to present the key communication aspects of the PREP curriculum in a One-Day Workshop format. The training covers:
A brief overview of research and theory supporting Marital Education
A brief overview of key risk factors for marital distress and divorce.
Communication skills training to help couples reduce negative interaction and handle conflict constructively.
A problem solving method that works.
A framework for understanding, building, and maintaining commitment.
A simple framework for helping couples maintain friendship, fun and intimacy.
Christian PREP trainings integrate a theological framework of understanding for marital health and distress.
